Rental Agreement Summary
This page summarizes major rental rules. The official signed rental agreement controls the final terms.
Vehicle Condition
The vehicle must be returned in the same condition it was received, except for ordinary wear and tear. Pickup and return photos may be required.
Rental Term
The rental starts and ends on the scheduled dates and times. Late return may result in additional charges.
Driver Qualifications
Renters must be at least 21 with a valid, unexpired driver’s license. Unauthorized drivers may not operate the vehicle.
Mileage
Rentals include 200 miles per day. Excess mileage is charged at $0.35 per mile unless unlimited mileage is purchased.
Security Deposit
A security deposit is required. Deposit amount may vary by vehicle class, rental risk, damage, cleaning needs, policy violations, or other contract issues.
Insurance
Unless provided in writing, Rent Me CT does not provide primary insurance. Renters must maintain valid auto insurance.
Damage Responsibility
Renters are responsible for damage, theft, vandalism, misuse, towing, storage, loss of use, diminished value, and administrative fees during the rental period.
Smoking Policy
Smoking is not allowed. Evidence of smoke, odor, ash, or residue may result in cleaning and remediation fees.
Tickets, Tolls & Violations
The renter is responsible for tolls, parking tickets, traffic violations, and related administrative fees during the rental period.
GPS & Telematics
Vehicles may be equipped with GPS tracking for theft prevention, recovery, and monitoring.
